South/South East Mallorca.
This is probably one of the quietest and most peaceful areas in Mallorca, some parts of which very much resemble the neighbouring island of Ibiza.
Make sure to visit Cala D’or, with it’s glamorous marina and white buildings, that meet the same style as Ibiza. It is quite a lively resort compared to other areas nearby.
Santanyi, is a very rural town which has one of the nicest and most popular markets on the island which takes place on Wednesdays and Saturdays. If you are searching for a relaxing getaway or a peaceful experience where you can get some great food than this is the place for you.
Ses Salines is very tranquil and it’s closest beach is the stunning “Es Trenc”, which is very well known for it’s shallow waters and beautiful scenery. This is also quite a popular place for walking lovers.
Campos, thanks to it’s proximity to Es Trenc (as well as Ses Salines), people travel island wide to visit this area, so you’ll be certain to find some lovely hotels and coastlines. There are a lot of cycle paths for everyone to take advantage of.
Son Severa is another town closeby, which hosts an amazing couple of weeks of celebrations for Sant Joan which include fairs and music concerts.
As you can tell by the popularity of walking and cycling in this area, this is a very idyllic part of the island where you can experience some very beautiful views and coastlines while enjoying the very uplifting sunshine.
